York County SPCA

Hill Street participates with the York County SPCA in their Low Cost Spay and Neuter Program. These procedures are scheduled for Wednesdays only. Please contact the SPCA directly to obtain a voucher. The Last Chance Fund

The Last Chance Fund (TLC) is a program established by the Pennsylvania Veterinary Foundation (PVF) to ensure a source for funding for abused, neglected or injured un-owned (stray) companion animals. Funding is provided on a case-by-case basis, and it is not always guaranteed.
Hill Street recommended a young Pit Bull, Rosie, last year. Rosie was found in the bushes. She had a broken leg and several abrasions that suggested she had been hit by a car. Hill Street contacted TLC on Rosie’s behalf, and they were able to provide funding to fix Rosie’s leg. A home was found for Rosie, and she has recovered well.
Information on TLC can be found at www.pavetfoundation.org.
The Animal Behavior Network

The Animal Behavior Network (ABN) is a network of families, pet professionals, and veterinary practices with a shared goal to improve the relationships between people and pets. ABN provides comprehensive education and guidance on topics ranging from puppy and kitten raising to complicated issues like fear biting and other aggressive behaviors.

About Payments and Fees
Hill Street Veterinary Hospital is privately run and recovers costs of materials and services through fees alone. Unless prior arrangements are made, all bills are due in full when your pet is discharged. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, and debit cards.
Occasionally, under special circumstances, we will send a bill; nonpayment or deliquent payment, however, will result in a service charge and discontinuation of this privilege.
We encourage all pet owners to consult with one of the veterinarians for a complete explanation of fees prior to the treatment in question.
